The ASP has evolved to be much more than a school. It is a program of actions with directed ethos toward physics as an engine for development in Africa.

The 9th African School of Fundamental Physics and Applications, ASP2026

The 9th African School of Fundamental Physics and Applications (ASP2026) is planned to be held at the University of Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya, from July 5 to 19, 2026.

The call for applications for ASP2026 is now open. The topics will include:

  • Fundamental and applied physics
  • Societal engagements
